On Monday, the snow day, it was frigid. It went down to 16 degrees that night. Today, only 5 days later, the temperature has hit 8o degrees and we are wearing shorts. Even for NC, this is really screwed up….but I am loving the open windows and fresh air.

Snow’s all melted here in NY as well.

We still have plenty of snow, but it was quite “warm” (50s” today.

16 to 80 degrees in less than a week seems a little jarring!

Wow, that is a pretty crazy transition!

We get a lot of that in Ohio, but not to that extent. I mean, 20 to 80 is quite a jump!

Here from Show and Tell! Now that is a crazy swing in weather. My in-laws are in Oklahoma, and they report crazy weather situations like that all the time… up here in the rainy and gray Pacific NW, it is usually just that. Although at this moment, it is snowing and there are lightning storms. WTF?

Loved your pictures. 🙂 Have a great rest of your weekend!

That’s what’s going on here. Spring has sprung (until the next snow storm. I do live in Western NY and on Lake Ontario).

No snow here in Ohio and a high of 65 today.

    Yay for spring!

Oh, and LOVE the bucket head for the snowman. Too cute!

Crazy seems to be the word of the day for that weather! Yay for spring! I’m more than ready for it. Enjoy the snowless landscape.

Wow! I am wondering if I am going to have a snow pile in my back woods in June when I get home to New Hampshire.

I live in a place where I have to travel north to ever catch even one snowflake in real.

If you are liking it, it must be good. Enjoy the new weather, Kristin!

That’s crazy! We’ve had huge temp shifts here too…and I’ve had the migraines to prove it!!!!

I hope you enjoyed that snowfall! Now let’s hope spring stays.

Wow that is a big temperature shift. We used to get that sometimes when I lived in Great Falls Montana. Not so much here in California.

We had the same thing going on in KS! It’s so weird, but like you, I am loving having the windows open and the warm weather…I hope it sticks around, because I have a huge case of cabin fever! Enjoy!

WOW, a HUGE difference for sure! I’m jealous that you have 80 degree weather! It’s been snowing and raining off and on all day. We woke up to the rooftops covered in a light layer of snow. I want the sun and warm. Great pictures, I love Da Snowman. Thanks for sharing.

THANK GOODNESS FOR SPRING!!! We got a blizzard on Monday, too, but it was lovely all weekend. Of course, here in New England, we still have a ton of snow left. But the patches of ground that I can see will pull me through this last bit!

BTW, I bought a Canon Elph 880. I really love it. There’s a lot to learn about the settings, but lots of flexibility. So far, it’s taking really nice pic’s.

Holy smokes! That is the best kind of snow, though. You have it for a couple of days when it is still white and pretty then it’s just gone. I hate it when it hangs around for a week and gets brown and gray.

You did have a winter wonderland!
